Did I mention these art postcards we just printed up? High quality prints on 14lb coated cover stock. Glossy on the art side, easy to write on the backside. Nice enough to frame, or stamp em and mail them to your favorite adventure pals. If you want any send me a DM. $2 each, 3 for $4 or 6 for $7. Mix and match or all the same, you pick.
This weekend I had intended to test for my blue-red belt. But I fell ill and then my wife was sick too and so I had to unexpectedly not show up. Disappointing as the testings are always such great community experiences.
Sometimes the real test is a test of mental and emotional flexibility, patience and handling disappointment with a humble grace. It’s all part of the practice.
These past few months have been a lot of seed planting.
I always approach the sales side of the business as more of a farmer than a hunter. A patient approach to building long term relationships over the quick hunt for a fast transaction.
I don’t just want to sell someone my services, I want to take the time to get to know them and find out what they are passionate about and what their hopes and struggles are. Then see in what creative ways I can keep them grow their business. That may not mean some service I offer. It may simply be an introduction to someone else or sharing a resource. If the time comes that I can be of service, great. Until then we can still be friends, and I’ve still got your back and will cheer you on.
